About Carson
Student Lerin Rutherford & Edward Hussein Carson on HCHS campus
Edward Hussein Carson was educated at Alabama Christian Academy before attending Harding University. After finishing graduate school, Carson accepted a teaching appointment at CAC (N. Little Rock, AR) for four years before arriving at his current post: Houston Christian High School, where he teaches in the Department of History and Social Science. He teaches both Advanced Placement United States History and Advanced Placement European History, as well as a World History course. He has written and presented multiple papers and topics at various academic meetings. Besides his joy for teaching bright young students, he enjoys reading, going to the movies, and talking politics.
