Brother East

If you know me, you know that I love Cornel West; he was one that inspired me to think historically about the problems of the 20th century back in high school. As I have told a number of my students, he has become more of a celebrity than an academic of late. Now, do not get me wrong, the brother is prophetic and deep; he is brilliant and transformative vis-a-vis pragmatism and post-modernism. He has a comical rival in Cornel East, who does a great job making fun of one of the most profound modern thinkers.
